Squaw Valley:

Known for a wide variety of extreme terrain. Vibrant ski culture + Olympic heritage. Legendary reputation for its high snowfall and notorious steeps.

Sugar Bowl:

Known for having the highest snowfall in Lake Tahoe. Easy access to back and side country. Shorter lift lines and fewer crowds compared to larger resorts.

Northstar:

Known for excellent protection from wind. The best intermediate ski terrain. Cool base village to hang in.
