Take a short ½ mile drive to Rude Brothers Bagels. One of our favorite breakfast spots in town. Enjoy fantastic coffee and fresh baked bagels before you take off for the day’s adventures.

Bike Ride to Camp Richardson…

There’s no wonder why bike riding is the most popular sport in Lake Tahoe with what seems to be an endless amount of bike trails in the Lake Tahoe Basin. A casual bike ride to camp Richardson almost seems necessary. You can rent your bikes at

Andersons Bicycles, located a short 4 mile drive away on Emerald Bay rd. After

getting your bikes, leave your car behind and begin your scenic bike ride along a paved trail to Camp Richardson. There are museums in camp Richardson and Valhalla, public beaches and a fish viewing area at Taylor Creek. Also, try the delicious handmade ice cream at Camp Richardson’s Ice Cream Parlor or get lunch at The Beacon Bar and Grill before you head back into town.
