Meetings and group events are nothing of the formal and stuffy kind at Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge & Spa. We would never encourage being cooped up in meetings all day, we highly recommend sharing the time and enjoying the beautiful natural surroundings that Lake Tahoe offers. In fact, we actually prefer to call them “unmeetings”. So, ditch the formal table and chairs and bring in some bean bag chairs to collaborate.

Planning an Engaging Conference, Meeting or Group Retreat?

When it is time to get down to business at least plan it with a view. As an ideal setting for intimate groups of 20 or less, plan your next board or executive meeting on the lake. The Lakeview Meeting Room, at 575 square feet, provides elevated views with no distractions (except for the view). During the summer and fall, take your breaks or have a meal outside. A game of beach volleyball after lunch will clear the mind and provide some team building time. During the winter grab first tracks as a group or take the afternoon once the snow softens to play in the snow and really refresh those minds.

Our day spa, Elements, will provide the relaxation and pampering, before or after the activities and adventures of the day. With the hotel’s central location, a collection of restaurants is found nearby for dining. Local activities are abundant and can include hiking, biking, marinas with kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, jet ski and motor boat rentals, mountain resorts for skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling and large boats for group lake cruises.

A Variety of Condo and Lodging Options to Suit Your Group’s Needs

The variety and affordability of lodging options right on the lake makes it appealing for all group sizes. Every lodge room and condo includes lake views and a fireplace. All condos and certain lodge rooms include full kitchens to make those longer stays enjoyable. Our two bedroom two bath condominiums sleep 5 and the one bedroom with loft condominiums sleep 4. Family reunions love that the heart of the hotel is all focused on the lake side. The private beach, outdoor swimming pool (open May-October) and hot tub (open year round) make spending time with family and friends fun and easy. The outdoor fire pit is available year round to warm and is best when paired with a cup of hot chocolate. Fun competition of beach volleyball and cornhole are witnessed daily, sometimes the losing team has to carry all the beach gear back to the room. South Lake Tahoe has become a popular location for many sports teams competing in ice hockey, soccer and baseball. The hotel is located close to the ice arena and sports fields.

Shuttle Services

Tahoe is one of the best winter playgrounds, ski groups and clubs can experience world class skiing at several nearby ski resorts. Many resorts offer ski shuttle service to easily get you to the mountain without having to drive. When you return in the early evening soak those muscles in the hot tub or enjoy a post ski massage at Elements Spa.

The Lakeview Meeting Room

The Lakeview Meeting room is also available to groups to rent. It is a perfect intimate setting for small groups of 20 or less and great for welcome receptions, cocktail receptions, small lunch & dinner receptions or hospitality room.
